#RIP MES; your work-shy demise made the world is much less dark, sadly. Shane Patrick Lysaght #MacGowan hasn't written so much as a shopping list for twenty years, and his thrice-broken hip plus the passing of the indispensable Philip Chevron has put an end to #Pogues nostalgia gigs. For all I know, Nick Cave is playing Las Vegas.

@tregeagle That #NME interview is a classic. I read it in print after the standard fortnight delay getting it via air-freight in the #Sydney record shops (high-latency connections in those days).
