@clacke I'm always cursing the minimum four-keystroke (off the home keys) fix that could be instantaneous. Maybe it's just me. I must have a weird sense of rhythm or something. Someone should look into Late-Descending Finger Syndrome.

Ctrl-T, as used in the # readline library is insanely handy for the fast but indextrous typist. I don't know why it's not a universal convention. (If you're not familiar with it, type 'abdc' in #, then hit Ctrl-T.)
