@tregeagle I tried the 'Pedometer' that was GPLv3-or-later. Based on a 3½ hour shift this afternoon + ~20 min commute each way, it reports 8352 steps and 6.27km. This is based on a 75cm stride length which I rounded down to a nice fraction of a meter from the average for a chap my height (80-something, according to the Internet).

8 hours at #work today. Shattered. Really must get a pedometer app or something to measure the number of steps I take per hour. Can't begin to imagine a way to measure the number of kilograms I lift/push.

Ha. John Bolton is out. Couldn't happen to a nicer raving nutcase. Can't understand why #Trump occasionally appoints people with an agenda (albeit an unspeakably vile one) when all he really wants is utterly unprincipled craven subservience. Lasted longer than Bannon though. If civilisation survives, this presidency is going to make such a brilliant HBO box set.
