Actually, in my pretentious youth I used to take a few "long necks" of Toohey's New with me into Peter Greenaway films. This had the salutary effect of rendering me a) drunk, and b) in the lavatory for much of the film.

My #bank waives hole-in-the-wall cash withdrawal fees provided you make a certain amount of electronic transactions per month, and have your wages deposited into that account. I couldn't work out the logic behind this requirement until I looked at my statement and realised "Oh, feck. That's tremendously commercially useful data, isn't it?" You can have cash at face value, or you can have #privacy, but not both.

True, no lives depend on me, but several people may be deprived of corn chips if I am not on the ball, and who is to say that this isn't ultimately, in the grand calculus, just as important? #utilitarianism
