US took part in raid that murdered 210+ Palestinians in Nuseirat, used ‘aid’ jetty

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Sun, 09/06/2024 - 4:31am in

Israelis disguised trucks as aid delivery vehicles before killing hundreds of Palestinians and several Israeli captives, to free just four. Biden silent on Palestinian victims as he praises Israel, but Israeli families slam Netanyahu

Israeli occupation troops were directly aided and abetted by US forces as they hid inside a fake ‘aid truck’ to launch the raid on Nuseirat refugee camp that killed hundreds of Palestinians. US troops used the US-built supposed ‘aid’ jetty to provide support for the raid.

The Israelis also killed several of their own citizens in the assault and managed to free only four – who would certainly have been killed before they were ‘rescued’ if the Palestinians were interested in killing them. The Israelis paraded in front of the cameras appeared well fed and cared-for, in a territory where two million people are in famine.

Al Jazeera reporter Anas Al-Sharif posted video of an aid truck used by Israeli forces in the assault, which killed well over two hundred Palestinians and wounded more than four hundred. Al-Sharif said:

Israeli occupation forces infiltrated the Nuseirat refugee camp today in trucks disguised as humanitarian aid.

All the captives, including those killed by their own side during the ‘rescue’ – adding to the ‘immense’ number already admitted by the Israeli military (but ignored by the UK media) – could have been free in days if Israel agreed a proper ceasefire and prisoner swap. Thousands of Palestinian civilians remain in brutal captivity and at least 45,000 civilians – and as many as 100,000 according to some sources – have been slaughtered during Israel’s genocide, with twice as many maimed, mostly women and children.

US president Joe Biden congratulated Israel on the four freed. His speech did not mention the murdered Palestinians. Israeli families of captives, however, slammed Benjamin Netanyahu for ignoring them but rushing for a photo opportunity with the handful freed.

Akehurst banned Jewish candidate for blowing whistle on sexual abuse

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 04/06/2024 - 8:45am in

Jewish would-be candidate says Starmer’s imposed Israel-fanatic candidate for North Durham used NEC position to tell her she couldn’t stand because she would ‘bring Labour into disrepute’ because she blew the whistle on ‘sadistic and criminal’ abuse of domestic violence victims

Luke Akehurst – the fanatically pro-Israel ‘parachute’ candidate imposed by Labour’s national executive (NEC) as the party’s candidate in North Durham – told a Jewish woman last year that she couldn’t stand for the party because she blew the whistle to protect vulnerable domestic violence victims, according to whistleblower Elaina Cohen. Skwawkbox contacted Akehurst for comment on the allegations at the time, but he did not respond.

Elaina Cohen was wrongfully dismissed by right-wing MP Khalid Mahmood after she made ‘protected disclosures’ about abuse and exploitation by Mahmood’s lover of Muslim women fleeing domestic violence. One of the victims gave evidence at Cohen’s industrial tribunal about the ‘sadistic’ and ‘criminal’ abuse she had suffered at the hands of the woman, who also worked for Mahmood. Neither Mahmood nor his lawyers contested the victim’s evidence. As part of her testimony, she said:

Whilst befriending them [the lover] would find out their weaknesses and secrets and then would blackmail and exploit them for her own benefit and amusement and that of others.

She told the court via her unchallenged statement that Mahmood’s female staffer, with whom he was said to be in a relationship:

  • used a domestic violence charity she ran to blackmail domestic violence victims into shoplifting and giving her their social security benefits
  • made victims take speeding points on their licence that they did not incur
  • sadistically abused victims
  • made the chief executive of the charity suicidal by blackmailing her and taunting her
  • targeted Victim A on social media
  • revealed details of the charity’s vulnerable ‘service users’ to others
  • used her and other women from the now-defunct charity ‘for the private entertainment of important people’
  • introduced one victim to a male friend who hurt the woman, ‘but she didn’t care’
  • berated two victims for stealing the wrong jacket from a local department store
  • made victims fund meals for local Labour politicians
  • made victims ‘stalk’ Mahmood and report back on him

Cohen also repeatedly informed Starmer and Labour general secretary David Evans of what was being done to the women, but the pair took no action, part of a pattern of cover-ups that saw Starmer shelter at least two alleged sex pests on his front bench – and one confirmed sex pest in a senior job – while claiming to be a ‘champion’ of women facing domestic violence.

Akehurst’s deranged – and paid – support for Israel even in the midst of the genocide it is committing against the Palestinian people in Gaza is well known, but it is far from the only issue with him being allowed anywhere near a parliamentary seat. And his boss, who is cut from the same cloth, has no business being anywhere near power.

Khalid Mahmood has also been re-selected to stand in Birmingham Perry Barr, despite Cohen’s revelations about the victims and also her allegations of theft and taking cash from Kuwait, which he denied. Labour says it selects ‘quality candidates’.

Video: Rayner tries to whitewash Starmer’s Gaza complicity

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 29/05/2024 - 1:16am in

Shameful spectacle should fool no one – Starmer’s party continues to enable genocide

Deputy Labour leader Keir Starmer has gone to Muslims in her constituency to try to persuade them that – despite the mass of evidence to the contrary – Labour is doing everything possible for the people of Gaza against the genocide being perpetrated on them by Israel.

Starmer infamously said – and then eventually pretended he hadn’t – that Israel has the ‘right’ to cut off water, food and fuel from the Palestinian people corralled in Gaza and has described himself as a committed ‘Zionist without qualification’. Rayner’s unconvincing spiel doesn’t contain enough whitewash:

Coming as Israel continues to slaughter Palestinian civilians, including children in a refugee camp decapitated or burned to death in a recent attack, there is surely not enough whitewash in the world to fool anyone that Starmer’s guilt does not make him unfit for office, even before his string of other betrayals and broken promises is counted against him.

Labour completed Abbott’s case 5 months ago – delaying to force her out of seat

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 29/05/2024 - 12:17am in

Britain’s first Black woman MP received a formal warning and took a mandated online course, but still not reinstated from 13-month-long suspension for accurate comments, barring her from standing as a Labour candidate

Keir Starmer’s excuselast for the continued – 13-month – suspension of Diane Abbott, Britain’s first Black woman MP, was that the party’s disciplinary process had to be allowed to run its course.

Abbott was suspended over comments in a newspaper article – comments for which many Black people felt she should never have apologised – that Jewish people, because most look like the white majority, do not face the same type of racism as Black people. The comments were used as an excuse for a pile-on by pro-Israel groups – and Starmer suspended the whip from Abbott over the supposed antisemitism, despite letting a number of right-wingers off the hook for genuinely antisemitic comments. If the party does not reinstate her, she will not be able to stand as a Labour candidate in the coming general election.

But now Starmer’s excuse has been blown out of the water, with the revelation that the disciplinary process in Abbott’s case finished five months ago, with Abbott handed a formal warning and ordered to complete an online ‘antisemitism course’, which she did:

Fellow Black left-winger Claudia Webbe echoed the thoughts of many when she described Starmer’s and the party’s actions as ‘racism to the core’ and an attempt to control Black people, especially left-wing women:

Activist ‘ToryFibs’ noted that the abuse of Ms Abbott is anything but the exception:

The party is riddled with anti-Black, anti-Muslim and anti-Gypsy racism and Keir Starmer has repeatedly protected and excused outright racism on the part of the Labour right – as well as covering up sexual harassment and misogyny by right-wingers. Abbott is far too good for the diseased husk he has made of the party.

Exclusive: Jewish whistleblower quits Labour over Starmer’s ‘protection of abusers and racists’

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 28/05/2024 - 6:45pm in

Elaina Cohen says she cannot bear to remain in party that suspends Abbott but protects wrongdoers and she will campaign against Starmer’s Labour

Jewish whistleblower Elaina Cohen, as long expected, has quit her Labour membership and will campaign against Keir Starmer’s party over Starmer’s cover-up of abuse and exploitation she says she discovered of domestic violence victims by the alleged lover of right-wing MP Khalid Mahmood.

Ms Cohen has accused Starmer of ‘brutal disregard for women’ after she informed him several times about the ‘sadistic’ mistreatment of vulnerable Muslim women.

Elaina Cohen’s ‘pinned’ tweet

Emails proved that Ms Cohen made Keir Starmer repeatedly aware of her allegations that one of his front-benchers was protecting a staff member who was involved in the abuse of domestic violence victims she exploited through a now-defunct domestic violence ‘charity’ – yet he did nothing, leaving Khalid Mahmood on his front bench until Mahmood eventually decided to step down over political differences.

During her wrongful dismissal case against right-winger Mahmood, the MP and his legal team accepted ‘Victim A’s sworn statement about the abuse she had suffered at the hands of Mahmood’s office manager and lover into evidence as truth without challenge.

The victim told the tribunal that she and others had suffered ‘sadistic’ abuse, threat and blackmail as Mahmood’s paramour tried to force her into theft and fraud and used domestic violence victims as entertainment for the rich and powerful – and the party also ignored Cohen’s formal complaint against Starmer and his sidekick David Evans for the cover-up.

The moment that evidence was accepted as fact, without challenge, in a legal proceedings Keir Starmer should have been forced by media coverage and a storm of public outrage into resigning. Yet the ‘mainstream’ media have almost entirely ignored the revelations – and actively misreported the unfolding of the case.

Her resignation email reads:

It is with regret I am resigning from the Labour Party . I cannot be in a party that condones heinous  abuse of vulnerable women .

The MP you selected was aware that his staff member took sadistic pleasure as a DV outreach worker in criminally exploiting multiple vulnerable women including victims of different faiths members of the LGBT community.

Her particular pleasure in  blackmailing mothers with children condoned by Keir Starmer is unconscionable for every decent person.

How can Keir Starmer claim he will smash human trafficking into our country when he backs a Labour member carrying out acts of organised crime exploiting desperate and vulnerable women.

I cannot as a person of conscience after four years of Keir Starmer  doing everything possible to cover up crimes in the membership  stay within it.

It is now my suspicion   that allegations of historic cover up of wrong-doing lead to Keir  Starmers door and that his sincerity and reliance upon on a legal and institutional career can  no longer be relied upon.

I have worked hard in Perry Barr and I still have a platform with supporters to raise my concerns.

Whatever the outcome of the judgment at least I am on the right side of justice for the most vulnerable in society.

The Labour party decision makers reap what they sow .

Starmer’s appalling record toward women includes sheltering two alleged sex pests in his Shadow Cabinet – and taking no action against disgraced MP Chris Matheson after he was placed under investigation and ultimately found guilty by Parliament of sexual harassment. Matheson instead resigned after the finding.

Starmer also welcomed Bermondsey and Old Southwark MP Neil Coyle back into the party last year, despite Parliament finding Coyle guilty of at least one count of sexual harassment and of making racist remarks.

Ms Cohen told Skwawkbox:

The hypocrisy of keeping Diane Abbott suspended when she is clearly not antisemitic, while Keir Starmer covers up for abusers and racists, is absolutely appalling. I have resigned my membership so that I can campaign against Labour and will be doing so vigorously. He is unfit for office.

US, Israel rant as Ireland, Spain, Norway recognise Palestinian statehood

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Thu, 23/05/2024 - 7:50am in

Netanyahu and Biden governments in meltdown again as three countries bypass US veto and declare Palestine a state

Norwegian, Irish and Spanish governments declared Palestine’s statehood

The US and Israeli governments have reacted with fury to announcements by three European governments, at the same time, that they are recognising Palestinian statehood. Ireland, Norway and Spain have all now formally declared Palestine to be a state.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu – probably soon to be declared by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to be wanted for war crimes – raged that the three nations were giving ‘Khamas’ a ‘reward for terrorism’. A Biden government spokesman claimed that the US condemned the recognition because it had been granted ‘unilaterally’ rather than through negotiation – ironic and deeply hypocritical considering that the US vetoed a recent application by Palestine to the UN Security Council motion for full membership of the UN. Several leading pro-Israel politicians called for the ICC to be ‘punished’, with a couple admitting that if Israel is held to account for its war crimes, ‘you know they’ll come for us next’.

Well done Ireland, Norway, Spain and, especially, the people of Palestine. Shamefully, there is no prospect of the UK following suit with either the Tories or what now passes for the Labour party in power after the newly-declared general election.

Hackney councillors quit Labour, form independent socialist group

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Sat, 18/05/2024 - 3:50am in

Trend seen across the country reaches East End of London. Shameless Labour demands they resign and fight by-elections, despite making no such demand of 3 Tory MPs who have defected

Hackney’s new Independent Socialists L-R: Penny Wrout, Claudia Turbet-Delof, Fliss Premru (image: Hackney Independent Socialist group)

Three Hackney councillors who had been suspended by Labour for voting in favour of debating a motion calling for a ceasefire in Israel’s genocide in Gaza have quit the Labour party and formed a new Independent Socialists group.

Claudia Turbet-Delof, Penny Wrout and Fliss Premru said their former party is:

stifled by a lack of internal democracy, transparency and scrutiny.

They went on:

We can no longer in good conscience continue campaigning for a Labour party which nationally refuses to call out the genocide in Gaza, continues to support arms sales to Israel, and seeks to clamp down on pro-Palestinian protests.

They also cited Keir Starmer’s abandonment of all his leadership campaign pledges and his u-turn to support NHS privatisation and Tory spending cuts to local government funding, his ‘kid starver’ commitment to keeping the cruel two-child benefit cap and his adoption of the blue Tories’ racist anti-immigrant narratives – and his treatment of Diane Abbott, Britain’s first Black woman MP, who remains suspended for commenting on anti-Black racism (on of many forms of racism which Starmer’s Labour is ridden) while Starmer has welcomed hard-right Tory MPs into the party.

A Labour spokesperson described the development as ‘disappointing’ and – with extreme but unsurprising hypocrisy – said the councillors should resign their seats and fight by-elections. The three Tory MPs to defect to Labour have not been told to do so.

Pro-Israeli judge Myerson sanctioned for ‘judicial misconduct’ for social media

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 26/03/2024 - 7:46am in

Well-known Israel advocate and Corbyn critic found to have breached professional standards in attack on trans rights campaigner

Pro-Israeli barrister and part-time judge Simon Myerson KC has been disciplined by the Lady Chief Justice and Lord Chancellor for attacking a transgender rights campaigner on the Twitter/X social media platform.

Myerson supports Israel against accusations of genocide and has frequently attacked Corbyn and his supporters

Myerson received a sanction for ‘judicial misconduct’ after complaints were upheld for a series of offensive tweets. Myerson accused the campaigner of having a “tiny intellect” and making “idiotic statements”. The disciplinary decision can be found here. Myerson broke the principle that judges should avoid participating in online debates on politically controversial topics to maintain the integrity and dignity of their judicial office.

Myerson insists Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza despite its slaughter of tens of thousands of women and children and insulted a Jewish anti-genocide campaigner

Some observers might consider there to be a suggestion of hypocrisy to Myerson’s behaviour. In September 2023, Myerson was a witness against a solicitor accused of posting offensive tweets at a disciplinary tribunal. Myerson’s evidence was that the solicitor’s tweets went “well beyond the bounds of acceptable conduct”, raising questions about whether he gave evidence to a tribunal about another person’s offensive social media posts without telling the tribunal that his own offensive posts were under investigation by the Lady Chief Justice.

Myerson also has a history of controversial comments on Twitter/X about the suicide of the Northumbria University academic Dr Pete Newbon, who died after a row with his wife. Newbon had posted to Twitter/X a meme of an image that originally showed Jeremy Corbyn reading much-loved author Michael Rosen’s Bear Hunt to some children, but in which the title of grossly antisemitic forgery ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion’ had been photoshopped onto the book.

Rosen, who is Jewish, was understandably unhappy that the Protocols had been photoshopped on his book. Myerson suggested that it was Rosen’s tweet in response to Newbon that led to complaints to Newbon’s employer that were linked by Newbon’s supporters to his suicide. Rosen’s tweets were far less offensive than the tweets Myerson has now been disciplined for and the coroner did not mention Rosen or his tweets at all in his inquest findings. Newbon, who had tried to get fellow academics sacked, was in fact on a final warning from the university because of his repeatedly awful conduct on social media – and was doing badly in a lawsuit brought by another individual whom his false claims on social media had endangered. Rosen has featured frequently in Myerson’s Twitter/X timeline.

Myerson, like Newbon a founding signatory of the so-called ‘Labour against antisemitism’ (LAAS) group that weaponised antisemitism allegations to attack then-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and whose directors have also attacked Michael Rosen, continues to be active on Twitter/X in support of Israel’s conduct in Gaza. Myerson rejects the finding of the International Court of Justice that Israel may be engaged in genocide. His position is that Israel’s actions in bombing Gaza and refusing to allow aid to enter are proportionate responses to the October 7 attack by Hamas. Most serious legal commentators are clear that Israel’s actions are disproportionate and are likely to amount to war crimes.

M

Simon Myerson criticised a court for finding anti-Zionism is a protected political belief and insists that Israel was not told to implement a ceasefire even though the International Court of Justice told it to stop killing Gazans and protect them instead.

Those reading Myerson’s recent social media output might feel justified in concluding that a change in his behaviour is unlikely. Yesterday he bizarrely accused a Jewish Twitter/X user of having learned to be snide ‘almost certainly aided by being Jewish’ when the user gently mocked the Israeli spokesperson Eylon Levy.

Mr Myerson did not respond to a request for comment accompanied by an initial draft of this article.

Exclusive: whistleblower accuses Labour W Mids PCC of refusing to act on abuse allegations

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 20/03/2024 - 9:04am in

No response from Simon Foster’s press office to Elaina Cohen’s allegations – also covered up by Keir Starmer

A former MP’s staffer who blew the whistle on alleged abuse of Muslim domestic violence victims has accused West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Simon Foster of ‘refus[ing] to investigate’ the failure of the force’s then-Chief Constable to act on evidence of the abuse – and that Foster and the current Chief Constable ‘disregarding’ further allegations, from a separate source, about the same alleged perpetrator.

Elaina Cohen, who used to work for Birmingham MP Khalid Mahmood and took him successfully to an industrial tribunal for unfair dismissal when she lost her job after making protected disclosures about the abuse, first made the allegations against Foster during submissions to the tribunal, which Skwawkbox attended on behalf of its readers. Evidence given under oath to the tribunal by one of the victims of the ‘sadistic’ abuse, threats and blackmail she suffered was not disputed by Mahmood or his legal team.

And in an email today to Wolverhampton South East MP Pat McFadden, a Keir Starmer front-bencher, seen by Skwawkbox, Cohen wrote that:

Evidence already in the public domain shows Simon Foster has steadfastly refused to investigate why former West Midlands Chief Constable Thompson abandoned multiple victims when presented with evidenced abuse perpetrated by a Labour member working in a parliamentary office of a Labour MP.

An email from [Tory West Midlands Mayor] Andy Street states when he has the authority of a PCC he will seek justice for these women…

…an opposition party councillor has made representation to Simon Foster and Chief Constable Guildford with further allegations about the same perpetrator and was also disregarded.

I believe this information questions Simon Foster’s suitability to be a candidate.

Skwawkbox contacted Mr Foster’s press office for contact this morning, but received only an automated acknowledgement in reply.

Labour leader Keir Starmer and his general secretary David Evans also covered up the abuse, taking no action despite repeated warnings and appeals from Ms Cohen. They also did not act on Ms Cohen’s complaints of the antisemitism she suffered – or on complaints from Muslim women councillors in Birmingham about bullying, misogyny and threats at the hands of local party right-wingers.

Despite this appalling record, Starmer has continued to boast that he will be a ‘champion’ for victims of domestic abuse. Simon Foster has also promised to act to protect women:

Foster, who is standing for re-election, has just won a legal battle to prevent his PCC role being absorbed by Tory metro mayor Andy Street, but Elaina Cohen told Skwawkbox of her dissatisfaction with both Foster and his party boss:

I remain disappointed that Sir Keir Starmer refuses to acknowledge or act upon my protected disclosures and whilst I would support an independent office of a PCC I would question political appointments based on my own experience. In my opinion the cover-up of criminal abuse of vulnerable women is just as abhorrent as racism as a candidate issue.

Video: Lab women’s spokesperson Dodds admits she/Starmer hadn’t contacted Abbott

Published by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 13/03/2024 - 8:23am in

Anneliese Dodds stammers when asked whether any Shadow Cabinet members had been in touch with Britain’s first Black woman MP, before admitting nobody had

Anneliese Dodds, Labour’s ‘Women and equalities’ spokeswoman, stammered and dodged her way through an interview on Sky News this morning, ultimately admitting that neither she, Keir Starmer, nor anyone else in Starmer’s shadow cabinet – nor apparently the party’s whips – had bothered to get in touch with Diane Abbott.

Ms Abbott, Britain’s first Black woman MP, has been in the headlines after racist and violent comments from the Tories’ biggest ever donor and has spoken publicly about how vulnerable she has felt as a result.

Dodds tried to excuse the lack of contact by claiming no phones are allowed in shadow cabinet meetings and then she had hurried to the Sky studio – as if mobile phones don’t work on the way to TV interviews. She also said that she wasn’t in charge of Starmer’s diary so couldn’t say when he would be in touch and could only say the party’s ‘whips’, who she said are responsible for MPs’ welfare, had been in contact with Abbott ‘for several months’, not since the news of the donor’s racist comments broke:

The interview sparked disgust among many who saw it:

Starmer and other Labour MPs – including Wes Streeting – have performatively condemned Frank Hester’s comments. However, Starmer has not punished the blatant racism – much of it directed at Diane Abbott – revealed in the leaked 2020 report on the conduct of senior party staff and confirmed by barrister Martin Forde’s investigation.

And Streeting was responsible for a 2018 ‘disgusting’ and ‘disgraceful’ verbal assault in Ms Abbott’s face in a Commons corridor, witnessed by other MPs and staff, for which he has never, at least publicly, apologised and which he threatened to sue Skwawkbox for revealing, a threat he did not carry out after Skwawkbox stood its ground:

Streeting has never been disciplined for his behaviour and was promoted by Starmer to Shadow Health Secretary.

Keir Starmer has presided over the targeting of a series of Black and Brown MPs and other elected figures, while ignoring others who faced foul racism – and his treatment of Diane Abbott, up to and including this latest incident, who has long suffered the most appalling racism of any MP, has been a disgrace that is only compounded by his hypocritical attempts to make political capital out of yet more abuse toward her.
