Also in #Toormina I saw the girl who used to live in the granny flat of our old house. She was about a hundred yards in front of the garbage truck, frantically scooping old beer bottles out of the bins and shoving them in a sack. (The government recently instituted a 10c deposit on each bottle.) By gad, she has entrepreneurial spirit.

@tregeagle Saw Roger earlier this week. He'd just crashed his car due to a moment of recklessness in a race ("I don't like coming second"), and doesn't expect to get it back on the road any time soon. He's reconsidering his racing career, given that he won the competition last year, and his insurance premiums will be astronomical from now on. Seems keen on reconvening the [GNU/]Linux group.
