Two weeks ago, Tesla CEO Elon Musk enacted widespread layoffs throughout the company, including the 500-strong team responsible for the brand's Supercharger. Now, Tesla is looking to hire some of them back, Bloomberg reports, as Musk promises to spend $500 million expanding the network.
We've forgotten that wars tend to end with peace treaties, not with one side vanquished, and there will likely come a moment when that happens with Russia and UKraine.
It is a bit weird that various TERF-adjacent people are expressing some anxiety about the billionaire queen of the TERFs. This isn't just gossip; the TERF movement is the Trojan Horse to smuggle in a lot of other horrors, and some pushback against the authority of the very litigious, very rich, very famous person is unexpected!
Gotta admit I was on Team Chait for this, but his follow up pushes me to team Joanne.
I admit I can't be bothered to follow all the ins and outs because, as with every other Trump legal issue, the real question is whether there are corrupt refs on the field (MAGA juror, appeals court judge, etc...), so most of the show is just for show.
