Banana tree in the back garden decapitated; will have to recover the top bit from the neighours' driveway in the morning. Pair of trousers I slung over some furniture by the window soaked. Totally worth it. 10℃ subtracted in a matter of minutes. I expect some of my neighbours will be putting on jumpers and getting a fire going now.
