# looks so much better in black and white. As I very young kid, I would rather watch the Brady Bunch than #, until on a school holiday stay with my grandparents, I watched it on their portable B&W, and decided it was the most brilliant thing ever. Later, inspired by Woody Allen's late-70s monochrome films, I used to turn the colour all the way down on our TV.
