Journalists, human rights groups, and lawmakers found common ground in their reaction to Donald Trump's latest attack on media outlets who critically who cover his administration. The video the president posted on Twitter over the weekend, showing him tackling and punching the wrestling promoter Vince McMahon with a superimposed CNN logo over McMahon's face, was met with widespread disbelief and outrage.

Thousands of anti-globalization activists took to the streets and waterways of Hamburg, Germany Sunday ahead of this week's G20 summit.
Police said at least 10,000 demonstrators marched peacefully in the rain in a prelude to the July 7-8 meeting, where 21,000 police with dogs, horses and helicopters from across Germany will attempt to protect the leaders of the world's 20 largest economies. Trump, Erdogan, Putin, Merkel, the Saudis, and over 100,000 protesters are also expected.

Most media reports have portrayed Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski as aggrieved victims of Donald Trump’s Thursday Twitter tantrum. It can’t be pleasant to be attacked so personally by the president, but Scarborough and Brzezinski are fighting back. On their MSNBC show “Morning Joe” on Friday and in an op-ed column in the Washington Post entitled “President Trump Is Not Well,” they chastised Trump for his vicious and vulgar attacks on her appearance, for referring to her as “low I.Q.

Canadian rocker Neil Young and Promise of the Real have just released the video for their new Trump resistance song "Children of Destiny," urging listeners to “stand up for what you believe, resist the powers that be.”
The video for “Children of Destiny” intersperses scenes of recent large-scale protests alongside imagery like picnics, children waving American flags, fighter jets and Fourth of July parades.
